About Us

The Mathematics Centre of Tanzania (MCT) was established in 2019 by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology through the Teacher Education Support Project (TESP). Our mission is to enhance the quality of mathematics education in teacher colleges across Tanzania.

At MCT, we are dedicated to improving the teaching and learning of mathematics, aiming to elevate student performance and foster a deep understanding of mathematical concepts. We work closely with teacher colleges to implement innovative strategies and provide resources that support educators and students alike.

Our vision is to create a robust educational environment where mathematics is not only understood but appreciated, equipping future teachers with the skills they need to inspire the next generation of learners.
